LEEK United Building Society has appointed a new Head of Credit Risk.
Gary Hodson joined the Society from the TSB, where he was Collections and Recoveries Manager - Strategy.
He brings to his new role at Leek United more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry, which began in retail banking with Co-operative Bank and has since included a number of other financial institutions.
Gary has undertaken a wide-ranging number of different roles encompassing, Commercial Lending, Commercial Credit Risk, Scorecard Development, Analytics and over 14 years within Credit Risk.
“Joining Leek United provides me with the opportunity to further broaden my credit risk management experience, as well as having greater input into an already longstanding and successful business,” said Gary.
“The challenge for me remains to maintain the high standards already set, and to continue to achieve the levels of service for which the Society is renowned.
Gary, aged 54, was born and raised in Wolverhampton where he lives with his wife Margaret.
In his spare time, he enjoys martial arts and football, and is a season ticket holder at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.Back to news
