Our Market Drayton branch reopens with a vibrant new look

On Monday 6 February, we reopened our Market Drayton branch following a significant renovation project.

After starting our branch refurbishment programme in 2021 with our Leek Derby Street branch, Market Drayton is the sixth of our twelve branches to be transformed. Since it closed on 6 January, the branch has undergone a complete makeover to better reflect our brand and offer a range of new and improved features for you, our members. 

Now furnished with a new community meeting room, our branch team are delighted to be able to offer members, and groups in the wider Market Drayton area, a place to facilitate their own meetings. The new community wall also provides local groups and charitable organisations a place to share their upcoming events, and members can browse our website using the new iPad area.

The new engagement zone offers customers somewhere to sit and raise their enquiries away from the counter, while the branch entrance remains equipped with an automatic door to maintain maximum accessibility.

Tamina Jubeen, Branch Manager at Market Drayton, said:

Tamina and her team were proud to have reopened their branch with the support of Market Drayton Town Mayor, Mark Whittle, who was on hand to reveal the transformed space in all its glory.

While other financial institutions are reducing their presence in local towns, these renovations show our commitment to the local high streets in which we serve across Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Cheshire and Shropshire.

To give members more flexibility on when they can visit, Market Drayton has now extended its opening hours; 9:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday and 9:15am – 12:00 noon on Saturdays.

We continue to press on with our branch refurbishments, with our Newcastle-under-Lyme branch next in line to close for renovations on 10 February.
