We’re delighted to have installed a new defibrillator at The Play Village in Ashbourne. The addition of this life-saving device marks the eleventh unit that we’ve put in across our four counties and follows our pledge to install 100 defibrillators over four years.
Michelle Prince, Branch Manager of our Ashbourne branch, said:
"My branch colleagues and I are really pleased that we have been able to place a vital piece of medical equipment outside The Play Village in Ashbourne. The centre sees lots of families come here each week and because of this new defibrillator they are now that little bit safer. I look forward to seeing more of these AED units installed across our town over the coming years, to help make our community a safer place.”
Our Ashbourne branch is located on Victoria Square, close to where the new AED unit has been installed on Station Street. We’re delighted to be strengthening our commitment to the local community by providing critical care equipment to The Play Village’s visitors, as well as nearby residents.
