RENEWING their mortgage deal is now just a few clicks away for thousands of Leek United homeowners.
The Society has launched a dedicated online portal, making it even easier for existing mortgage customers to renew their home loan arrangements.
For the first time, customers can go online and interact directly with Leek United and take a hands-on role in choosing and switching to a new mortgage product.
“We’ve introduced this exciting new facility in response to requests from customers who want the option of being able to deal with us online,” said Rob Longmore, the Society’s Training & Competence Manager.
“It makes the whole process of renewing their Leek United mortgage deal a whole lot easier and more efficient –and cuts out so much of the paperwork that they would previously have been faced with.”
Until now, customers coming to the end of their mortgage deal would have received a pack, forms to fill out or an advised interview in order to switch to a new product.
Now, all they will get is a single-page letter and an activation code giving them access to the portal –where they will find details of all mortgage products they are eligible for, monthly payments, and terms and conditions.
“We will still be offering customers the benefits of a full advice service if they prefer, but a lot of mortgage customers also want to be able to apply quickly online without that, and our new portal enables them to do just that,” added Rob.
“People have already switched on to the new system; the first letters went out this week, and customers have logged on to the portal and made their application.”Back to news
