Leek United has launched a special appeal to help bring some festive joy into the lives of children from vulnerable families throughout North Staffordshire.
Our teams in Hanley, Cheadle and Newcastle need donations of new toys and games as part of a Christmas campaign by Alice Charity*.
The three branches have set up collection points for gifts until 14 December, when all will then be handed over to the charity ready for distribution.
Alice Charity Chief Executive Steph Talbot says presents suitable for under-3s and under-5s – ‘which we always struggle for!’ – would be particularly welcomed.
Once toys and games have been collected, Alice Charity will wrap, label and deliver them to the various agencies they work with, to be distributed to vulnerable and disadvantaged families.

* Based at Unit 11, Queens Parade, Newcastle-under-Lyme ST5 1RW, Alice Charity was set up to help vulnerable families by providing an accessible service and support built on kindness, compassion and unconditional love for its communities.
