Everything has come up roses for Shropshire gardener Stephen Buttery after he filled out a customer satisfaction questionnaire for Leek United…
He was picked out as the winner in a random prize draw following a member survey* sent out with the Society’s Annual General Meeting notice earlier this year.
Now, Stephen – who has been a Leek United savings member for more than 20 years – and his partner Marion are planning a shopping spree with his £250 High Street vouchers prize.
“A lot of people just rip up questionnaires when they get them through the post, but I wanted to be as honest as I could about the great customer service I’ve always received,” said Stephen, of Oakengates, Telford.
“I’m really glad that I filled out the survey; I’ve never won anything like the lottery before, so it was brilliant news to find my name had been drawn out of the hat!”
Stephen was presented with his vouchers by Leek United’s Fiona Yates at his local branch in Market Street, Oakengates.
Fiona said: “We hope Mr Buttery enjoys his prize, and our thanks go to all our members who took the trouble to fill out the survey. Their feedback helps us to constantly improve the level of customer service that we pride ourselves on.”
*The survey revealed that over 86% of Leek United members would recommend the Society to their friends or family.Back to news
