THE family that saves together, supports together…
And Leek United’s Stoke City Football Club ‘Save and Support’ Affinity Account proved to be just the ticket for football fan Ian Allerton and his family.
The Stoke-on-Trent dad won a VIP invitation to cheer on his favourite team at the Britannia Stadium for the Barclays Premier League clash against Southampton on Saturday, 12th March.
Ian was automatically entered into a special draw when he opened a ‘Save and Support’ Affinity Account for youngest daughter, Kira, at the Potters’ home game against Aston Villa just two weeks earlier.
His exclusive prize allowed Ian and his family to watch the Southampton match in style.
“Me and my eldest daughter, Elle-Mae, already have ‘Save and Support’ accounts, and we decided to open one for Kira when Leek United attended the Villa match,” said Ian, of Meir, Stoke-on-Trent.
“We couldn’t believe it when we won the draw a fortnight later! We had an outstanding day at the Britannia Stadium, great seats and great hospitality. Unfortunately, the game didn’t go Stoke’s way – but the day was definitely a result for us…”
Joining Stoke City season ticket holder Ian on the day for the exclusive prize was wife Lisa, son Chris, aged 16, and Elle-Mae, seven.
All 'Save & Support' Affinity Account holders are entered into free draws throughout the 2015/16 season. Exclusive prizes for both Adult and Junior Account Holders include: Mascot Package, Media Day, Meet the Manager and Meet the Chief Executive.
Opening an account gives 'Potters' fans the chance to make a great save - AND boost support for their favourite team.
The account can be opened with as little as £1, and provides savers with the benefit of instant access to their money.
