Location: Flexibility offered to split your working week between home and our Customer Service Centre in Leek, Staffordshire.

Our Savings Assistants are an essential part of the Society, relied upon to provide a first-class service to our savings and digital customers. The exceptional customer experience that we provide gives great confidence in the Society and builds long term relationships.
We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate customer service excellence whilst also working well as part of a team for this challenging and varied role.
This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent administration skills who is seeking an interesting and varied role in financial services. We are looking for a full-time Savings Assistant who can work flexibly Monday to Friday. Saturdays may be required from time to time to cope with periods of high demand. So, if this sounds like something you’d thrive at, we’d love to hear from you.
- Deal accurately and efficiently with savings enquiries from members and other third parties over the phone and by correspondence, whether this be post or electronically
- Process and administer savings accounts in line with customer instructions and Society’s processes
- Use your attention to detail skills to check the accuracy of savings documentation submitted to the team
- Co-ordinate and process mailings to customers
- Ideally, you will have previous experience of completing administration tasks in a customer service environment
- The ability to plan and organise so that the needs of our members are met in an efficient manner
- A friendly, energetic communication style with your colleagues and our members
- The ability to react positively to changes and work efficiently when things get busy
