Location: Flexibility offered to split your working week between home and our Customer Service Centre in Leek, Staffordshire.

Salary up to: £55,000 plus benefits.

Employment type: Full time -  Permanent role.

Hours per week: 35 hours per week, worked flexibly between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

You’ll be joining the business at an exciting time as we look to grow, supporting change projects like the launch of our digital platform as well as making our processes more efficient for the benefit of both our staff and our members.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, who has experience of translating desired business outcomes to solutions. That is flexible and pragmatic with the ability to work to deadlines and to meet standards, along with analytical and problem-solving skills. Someone who has a background working on projects within Financial Services, preferably processes and technology related to mortgages.


  • Planning the redesign of business processes
  • Assisting core business project team members with workshops, discussions and process redesign and documentation of new data set requirements
  • Planning the analysis of existing data and revised data sets
  • Leading on the identification and definition of requirements for the system
  • Leading on production of the technical specification and solution design, compiling the RFP for procurement of a product


  • Business Analyst qualification such as ISEB.
  • BPMN or similar business process modelling skills
  • Well-developed planning and organisational skills
  • Outstanding communication and inter-personal skills 
  • Effective negotiation skills 
  • High-level of IT literacy, proficient user of Microsoft Office tools
  • Structured methodical approach.
