Proving Your Identity
It is a legal requirement for you to provide proof of identity when applying to open an account in order to reduce the risk of fraud and to safeguard your investment.
Unless you already have an account with Leek United, we will try to identify customers electronically. We will only ask you to supply paper documents if the electronic checks fail.
Existing members of the Society will not normally require any further proof of identity other than proof of their existing account, i.e. a passbook with a valid signature.
