Hanley

Hanley is the birthplace of Sir Stanley Matthews (the only player to be knighted whilst still playing football).

It is also host to a surviving Supermarine ‘Spitfire' (designed by Reginald Mitchell who was born in Hanley).

The branch was opened in 1962 and is conveniently situated opposite the ‘Potteries Shopping Centre', which is another main attraction of this town.
