New look gets Leek United noticed

A NEW-LOOK is getting Leek United noticed on the High Street in a Cheshire town...

The outside of the Society's Congleton branch office has recently undergone a complete refurbishment, including new signage in a brighter shade of corporate green.

And the eye-catching fascia has already succeeded in attracting new customers.

"Amazingly, people have been in to the branch saying they had not noticed it before, even though we've been on the High Street since 1977," said Martin Platt, Leek United's Support Services Manager.

"It certainly proves that updating our look has had the right effect, and won us new business."

Congleton is the first branch to undergo a ‘facelift' under the Society's rolling programme to upgrade its 12 branches throughout Cheshire, Derbyshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire.
